Is a standard porta potty right for my job?
A standard porta potty is right for crews of up to 20 workers, remodels, and parties of up to 50 guests per unit for 4 hours. It is wrong for weddings where guests expect a flush, for events with food and no separate sink, and for any guest using a wheelchair.

Need handwashing? Add a hand-washing station or upgrade to a flushing unit with a sink.
Standard unit questions
Does a standard porta potty have a urinal?
A standard porta potty has a non-splash urinal on the side wall next to the seat. The urinal drains into the same 60-gallon tank.
Does a standard porta potty come with hand sanitizer?
Every standard unit has a hand sanitizer dispenser, refilled at each service. It does not have a sink. For soap and water, add a hand-washing station or choose a unit with a sink inside.
What colors do your standard porta potties come in?
Standard units are usually blue or gray. Pink units are available for some events on request. Colors depend on what is in the yard that day, so ask early if color matters.
How long can a standard porta potty go between cleanings?
A 60-gallon tank lasts about 200 uses. One unit used by up to 10 workers on a 5-day week fits a weekly service. Heavier use needs a second weekly visit.
