Delivery and timing

How far ahead should I book a porta potty?

Book a standard porta potty 1–2 business days ahead most of the year. For graduation weekends in May and June, the Fourth of July and wedding Saturdays, book 2–3 weeks ahead. Restroom trailers need about 2 months for peak dates.

What time of day will my porta potty be delivered?

Deliveries run between 7 AM and 5 PM. We cannot promise an exact time on weekday routes, which is why event units arrive the day before. If you need a morning drop, say so at booking and we put you early on the route.

Will the driver call before arriving?

The driver calls the on-site contact about 30 minutes before arriving and texts a photo after the unit is placed. Give us a backup number in case the first contact cannot answer.

Can it be dropped off on Thursday instead of Friday?

Thursday delivery for a weekend event is free. Some hosts prefer it because it leaves Friday open to fix any placement issue before guests arrive.

Do you deliver on holidays?

We do not deliver on Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's Day. Holiday-weekend events get delivery the business day before and pickup the business day after.

What are your business hours?

Phones are answered Monday through Saturday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Mountain Time. Messages and quote requests left after hours are answered first thing the next business morning.

Units and features

What is the difference between a standard and a deluxe porta potty?

A standard porta potty has a seat, a urinal and hand sanitizer. A deluxe unit adds a foot-pump sink, and the top deluxe unit adds a foot-pedal flush that hides waste. Deluxe units are roomier and cost more because they carry fresh water.

Is the event porta potty nicer than the construction one?

Event units are kept separate from job-site units. They go only to parties and weddings, so they stay free of paint, mud and job-site wear. Both are the same size and are cleaned the same way before delivery.

Does the porta potty come with a lock?

Every unit has an inside occupancy latch. For an outside lock, we fit a hasp at no charge and you add any padlock. Leave it unlocked, or the key under the unit, on service and pickup days.

Do porta potties come on a trailer?

Trailer-mounted porta potties are available for road crews and large sites that move often. They can be towed by a pickup between work zones. Ask for a quote; prices depend on the number of units on the trailer.

Is the blue liquid in a porta potty safe?

The blue liquid is a deodorizer that controls odor and breaks down waste. It is safe for normal use but should not be touched or swallowed. Keep small children supervised inside a unit.

Do you rent drinking water dispensers or generators?

We rent restroom equipment only: porta potties, hand-washing stations and restroom trailers. For restroom trailers on sites with no water or power, we quote a water tank and generator with the trailer.

Straight answers

Placement and access

Does the porta potty need to be on level ground?

A porta potty needs level or nearly level ground so it does not rock or tip. A slight driveway slope is fine. On a steeper slope we shim the base or ask for a flatter spot.

Can the porta potty go in my backyard?

A porta potty can go in a backyard if the path from the truck is under about 30 feet and the gate is at least 48 inches wide. Alleys work well when the truck can reach the alley gate.

Can a porta potty go on grass?

A porta potty sits fine on firm grass. Avoid soggy lawns, sprinkler heads and septic fields. Turn sprinklers off around the unit so it does not sit in water.

Can I mark the spot instead of being there?

Mark the spot with a cone, a chair, ribbon or a sign, or text a photo with the spot circled. The driver places the unit there and texts a photo back.

Will the porta potty block my driveway or garage?

The driver never blocks a garage door, a fire hydrant or a sidewalk. Tell us which side of the driveway to use and how much room your cars need.

Cleaning and servicing

Is it cheaper if you empty it every other week?

Service every other week is not offered on job-site rentals, because a 60-gallon tank used by a working crew fills in about a week. The weekly visit is already included in the 28-day price.

Can I reschedule a service visit if nobody can let you in?

Call or text the day before and we move the service to the next route day. Locked sites can leave a lockbox code so service never needs anyone present.

Do you service porta potties I already own?

We pump and clean customer-owned units in the Longmont area for $95 per visit, or $85 per visit on a monthly schedule. Tell us the number of units and the gate access when you call.

How much toilet paper comes with a porta potty?

Each unit is delivered with 2 rolls of tissue in the holder and spare rolls on the shelf. Job-site units are restocked at every weekly service. Event hosts can ask for extra rolls at no charge.

What do you do with the waste?

Waste is pumped into a sealed tank on our service truck and emptied at a licensed wastewater treatment facility. Nothing is dumped on site.

Payment and booking

Can you email me a quote to share with my spouse or committee?

We text or email an itemized quote with every price, fee and tax line. The quote holds the price for 7 days, and you can book by replying or calling.

Do you take American Express?

We take American Express, Visa, Mastercard and Discover. There is no card surcharge.

Do I have to read my card number over the phone?

You can pay through a secure link sent by text or email instead of reading your card number aloud. The link shows your invoice and a pay button.

Do I need to give my address for just a price?

A ZIP code is enough for a price. We need the full address only when you book, so the driver can find the spot.

Do you charge tax?

Colorado state and local sales tax is added at the rate for your delivery address. Tax-exempt organizations pay no tax once we have their exemption certificate.

Straight answers

Changes, damage and pickup

If our event is cancelled, do I get a refund?

Cancel at least 48 hours before delivery and you get a full refund. Inside 48 hours, a $75 dispatch fee is kept and the rest is refunded. Weather postponements can move to a new date at no charge.

Do I get money back if I return a job-site unit early?

Job-site rentals bill in 28-day cycles, and a cycle is not refunded once it starts. Call for pickup before the next cycle begins and you will not be billed again.

What happens if someone tips over or damages the porta potty?

Normal wear is on us. If a unit is tipped, burned or vandalized, we bill the clean-up or repair cost, with photos, before charging. A lost or destroyed unit is billed at replacement cost.

Do I have to call for pickup?

Event units are picked up automatically on the date set at booking. Job-site units stay until you call or text, so you are never left without a toilet mid-job. Billing stops on the day you call.

Can I keep a porta potty all summer?

A porta potty can stay all summer on the 28-day job-site rate with weekly service. June through September is about 4.5 cycles, so plan for 5 cycles: $235 + (4 × $199) = $1,031 plus tax.
